Kaizer Chiefs have bolstered their travelling squad with fresh additions ahead of their crucial CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round fixture.
The Soweto giants are gearing up to face AS Simba of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the first leg encounter, and the team has been strengthened by the inclusion of Lebohang Maboe and Khanyisa Mayo. Both players did not travel for the opening preliminary round tie against Angolan side Kabuscorp.
Fresh Options for Amakhosi
Mayo, who was not registered for the first round, now steps into the squad, taking the place of Flavio da Silva. Maboe, on the other hand, is still awaiting his first appearance for Amakhosi and could finally make his debut in the black and gold this weekend.
Their availability adds much-needed depth and attacking options for Chiefs as they aim to secure an advantage before the return leg.

Amakhosi will be aiming to make a strong statement in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign and set themselves up for a successful run in the competition.
