A Festival with History and Heart

Spring Fiesta isn’t just another music event. For 15 years it has brought people together through sound and culture. It started as a house music celebration and has grown into one of the country’s leading festivals, drawing fans from across South Africa.

The 2025 edition is a milestone. Organisers are building on the festival’s legacy while adding fresh ideas to keep it exciting. The result is a line-up and setup that caters to both long-time fans and newcomers.

Headliners Ready to Set the Stage on Fire

Cassper Nyovest Brings Star Power

Cassper Nyovest remains one of the biggest names in South African music. Known for his stadium shows and hit singles like Tito Mboweni, he’s expected to deliver one of the standout performances of Spring Fiesta 2025. His presence on the main stage highlights the festival’s commitment to showcasing local talent at its best.

The Layabouts with Imaani

From the UK, The Layabouts will reunite with vocalist Imaani to perform their deep house classics. Fans can look forward to live versions of songs like Found My Light, which have become anthems in the house scene. Their return strengthens Spring Fiesta’s reputation for attracting international icons.

Six Stages, Six Experiences

One of Spring Fiesta’s trademarks is its multi-stage layout, each with its own vibe:

  • Main Stage: Big names like Cassper Nyovest, amapiano stars, and hip-hop favourites.
  • House Afrika Stage: Dedicated to deep house legends and selectors, including The Layabouts.
  • AfroTech & Soul Stage: Blending soulful African rhythms with modern electronic sounds.
  • Hip-Hop Stage: A platform for lyricists and rap newcomers.
  • Chill & Groove Zone: A relaxed space with acoustic sets, food stalls, and fashion activations.
  • Lifestyle Experiences: Pop-ups showcasing South African style and culture.

This setup allows fans to explore different genres throughout the day.

Ticket Options for Every Fan

Tickets are sold in phases, with prices increasing closer to the event:

  • Phase 1: General – R300 | VIP – R600 | VVIP – R1,000
  • Phase 2: General – R400 | VIP – R700 | VVIP – R1,350

For groups, VVIP table packages range from R10,000 to R50,000 and include bar tabs, food platters, and prime seating.

Festivalgoers travelling from outside Gauteng can book overnight bundles. These combine tickets with hotel stays, breakfast, and shuttle services, making the festival a full weekend experience.

The Venue: Wild Waters Complex

The Wild Waters Complex in Boksburg is an iconic outdoor venue, offering wide lawns, open-air stages, and easy access from Johannesburg and surrounding areas. It’s perfect for a festival of this size, with organisers expecting more than 10,000 people to attend.

More Than Music

Spring Fiesta 2025 is about more than performances. The festival also celebrates lifestyle and culture. Visitors can explore local food stalls, sip cocktails in the Chill & Groove Zone, or shop at fashion pop-ups that highlight South African trends.

By combining music with art, food, and style, Spring Fiesta captures the essence of Mzansi’s creativity.
