1. Volvo EX30 Cross Country – The Electric Off-Roader
Leading the charge is the EX30 Cross Country, a rugged spin-off of the highly successful EX30 crossover – currently South Africa’s best-selling electric vehicle. This adventurous model is expected to hit showrooms by the end of September 2025.
The Cross Country version is tailored for outdoor enthusiasts, featuring a raised ride height, flared wheel arches, and reinforced skid plates. It comes standard with all-wheel drive, powered by dual electric motors delivering 315kW and 543Nm, paired with a 69kWh battery that offers up to 427km of range. With DC fast charging, the battery can be recharged from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes.
2. Updated Volvo XC60 – Stylish & Sustainable
The facelifted Volvo XC60 arrives in spring 2025, boasting a refreshed design with an updated grille, sleeker fascia, and redesigned wheels. Inside, drivers will enjoy a clean Scandinavian layout with two-tone leather, an 11.2-inch infotainment display, wireless charging, and a modernized digital cockpit.
Available in mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants, the XC60 will likely retain its current engines, including:

Borrowing technology from the EX90, including LiDAR sensors and cutting-edge infotainment, the ES90 will be available with:

- Twin Motor: 330kW / 670Nm

Depending on the battery choice (92kWh or 106kWh), the sedan will offer up to 700km of range. High-end features such as a panoramic sunroof, Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and advanced air purification will be part of its appeal.
