Two years after debuting its first fully electric vehicle, the Spectre, Rolls-Royce has now introduced an enhanced performance variant that stands as the most powerful vehicle the brand has ever produced.
A Darker, More Powerful Spectre
Bearing the Black Badge title—previously seen on models like the Cullinan, Ghost, and the now-discontinued Wraith—the Spectre Black Badge maintains its 100-kWh battery pack but benefits from a significant boost in power and torque. For the first time in Rolls-Royce’s history, torque surpasses the 1,000 Nm mark.

Striking Exterior Enhancements
The Black Badge Spectre distinguishes itself from the standard model with an array of darkened accents. The signature Spirit of Ecstasy mascot features a black finish, while the grille and other trim elements also adopt a stealthier look. A newly introduced Iced Black bonnet finish further accentuates its aggressive appearance. The car rides on alloy wheels measuring up to 23 inches, available in black or a partially polished design.
At the rear, the changes continue with a darkened diffuser section and black-finished door sills. Rolls-Royce has also introduced a striking new exterior color option, Vapour Violet, along with four backlight hues for the illuminated grille: Chartreuse, Turchese, Charles Blue, Forge Yellow, and Tailored Purple.

A Blend of Luxury and Innovation Inside
The cabin retains the brand’s signature craftsmanship, featuring an intricate “5,500 stars” design etched into the dashboard’s passenger-side panel, encased in a piano black surround. A unique Infinity (∞) logo appears in the Black Badge model, with five customizable instrument cluster themes: Ultraviolet, Neon Nights, Synth Wave, Vivid Grellow, and Cyan Fire.
Luxury materials define the interior, with a bespoke fiber finish consisting of diamond-weaved carbon fiber and fine metal threads. Each unit undergoes an intricate process—six layers of metal thread are embedded into the carbon fiber, sandblasted, sealed with six layers of lacquer, and then hand-polished before being fitted inside the Black Badge models.

Unprecedented Performance Upgrades
At the heart of the Spectre Black Badge is a performance boost from 430 kW in the standard version to an impressive 485 kW. A newly integrated ∞ button on the steering wheel allows drivers to unleash the full 485 kW in short bursts, while a new Spirited Mode enhances motor responsiveness, pushing torque up to 1,075 Nm—an increase of 175 Nm over the standard Spectre.
Though Rolls-Royce has not disclosed the top speed, the Spectre Black Badge accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. The vehicle also maintains an estimated range of 493 km on a full charge.
To complement its added power, the chassis has been reengineered with stiffer dampers as part of the renowned Magic Carpet ride system. Additional refinements to the power steering and suspension system further reduce body roll, ensuring a dynamic yet comfortable driving experience.
