Goals from Gaston Sirino, Inacio Miguel, and Pule Mmodi propelled Chiefs to a comfortable win, extending their positive form under coach Nasreddine Nabi.

Chippa, who had started to show signs of life towards the end of the first half, were unable to break through in the second. Chiefs sealed their victory when Mmodi was in the right place at the right time to tap in a rebound off a parried shot.
