Looking ahead to 2025, both marques are preparing to broaden their offerings further. Having introduced the C9 in October 2023, OMODA plans to expand the model’s lineup in 2025 with a plug-in hybrid version. Inside, the J6 boasts luxurious features like a 15.6-inch touchscreen, massage-capable front seats, and electrically adjustable options.

The JAECOO J7, already a favorite among South Africans, will gain a PHEV variant in 2025. This plug-in hybrid promises reduced emissions and improved efficiency without compromising performance. Recent endurance tests in China suggest an impressive 3.3L/100 km fuel consumption and an all-electric range exceeding 125 km—figures that could make the J7 PHEV a game-changer in its segment.
