Orlando Pirates announced on Tuesday that midfielder Vincent Pule is leaving the club after six seasons. The 32-year-old joined the Buccaneers in 2018 after a stint with Bidvest Wits. He quickly won over the hearts of Pirates fans with his impressive performances. Over his six years with the club, he racked up over 140 appearances and directly contributed to 35 goals (through both scoring and assists). These contributions, as the club stated, cemented his legacy as a true “Soweto Giant.”

Pule’s Trophy Success and Memorable Moments

Pule’s time with Orlando Pirates wasn’t just defined by statistics. He played a key role in securing multiple trophies for the club. During his six seasons, he helped the team lift a total of three MTN8s and two Nedbank Cups. He also etched his name in Pirates’ history by winning the PSL Goal of the Season award in the 2018/19 season with a stunning strike against Polokwane City.

    Orlando Pirates’ Heartfelt Message

The club jotted down its heartfelt message on Pule’s departure, thanking him for his time and contribution. “On behalf of the entire Orlando Pirates family, we would like to thank Vincent for everything he has done for this football club,” said the club in a statement. “He is a phenomenal player who has given us unforgettable moments on the pitch, while also demonstrating the qualities of a model professional off it.” Pule’s next destination remains a mystery, but Orlando Pirates fans will undoubtedly remember his trophy success and all the incredible moments he delivered while wearing the black and white. Pule leaves Orlando Pirates with an unforgettable mark.
