UEFA Last 8 Draw: Manchester City vs Real Madrid
Holders City and 14-time European champions Madrid meet for the third season running in the latter stages of the competition. The English Premier League champions, Guardiola’s men eased to a 5-1 aggregate win last term in the semis, exacting a measure of revenge for their dramatic defeat at the same stage 12 months earlier.

UEFA: What the Coaches Said Before the Draw
Ahead of the draw, Guardiola addressed his fears of facing Ancelotti’s men, Madrid saying he is scared of all the teams in the quarter-finals. On top of that the former Barcelona midfielder said his men will be prepared for the next stage of the competition.

“If you play against Bayern Munich, how many Champions Leagues they have and the history they have,” said Guardiola, speaking last week. We respect all of them… we are scared too. I don’t know if they are but we are. I say to the players, maybe it’s not enough for you. For me, every time the group stage we go through, I know how difficult it is. People say it’s only Copenhagen, fine. I give a lot of credit. It looks like aggregate 6-2 is easy. It’s not.”
