Salary: R293 847 – R1 005 801 per annum
Requirements:
- An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 8) in LLB or equivalent four-year legal qualification.
- A minimum of two years’ legal experience, with additional experience required for higher MR levels.
- Superior court or litigation experience is a plus.
- Skills in communication, computer literacy, numerical analysis, detail orientation, planning, organising, problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service.
- Strong work ethics, professionalism, ability to work under pressure, results-driven mindset, honesty, trustworthiness, and confidentiality adherence.
Duties:
- Coordinating case flow management and support services to the Judiciary and Prosecution.
- Managing the issuance of court processes, facilitating pre-trial conferences, and supporting the judicial process.
- Attending to quasi-judicial functions such as default judgments and taxations.
- Supervising and managing staff, providing practical training and assistance to Registrar Clerks.
- Maintaining criminal and civil record books, authenticating documents for international use.
- Ensuring compliance with uniform rules of court, practice directives, and relevant codes and legislation.
