Salary Range: R294,321 – R343,815 per annum (Level 07).

Requirements:
- Matric certificate;
- 1-3 years of secretarial or office assistant experience in a legal environment;
- proficiency in English;
- A valid driver’s licence;
- an LLB degree or a minimum of 20 modules completed towards an LLB/BA/BCom Law degree is an advantage.
- A typing/Secretarial Diploma; an LLB Degree or a minimum of 20 modules completed towards an LLB/BA/BCom and a Paralegal Qualification as an added advantage.

Duties:
- Typing or formatting draft memoranda, decisions, opinions, or judgment entries;
- Managing and typing correspondence, judgments, and orders;
- Arranging and diarizing appointments, meetings, official visits, and making travel and accommodation arrangements;
- Performing digital recording of court proceedings;
- Ensuring the safe storage and filing of court records;
- Accompanying the Judge to court;
- Managing the Judge’s vehicle and logbook;
- Compiling data and preparing reports and documents for assigned Judges;
- Arranging receptions;
- Managing the Judge’s library;
- Executing legal research as directed by the Judge;
- Ensuring annotation of relevant publications, codes, acts, and rules;
- Attending to and executing requests from the judiciary related to cases and case-related matters;
- Managing the safekeeping of case records.
