Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of Grade 10 or equivalent.
- Must be able to read and write.
- Good verbal and writing skills.
- Sound communication and computer skills
Duties:
- Control and maintain queues in waiting areas to monitor waiting times.
- Ensure that patients are directed to appropriate clinics or point of service.
- Provide general information to waiting patients.
- Assist in compiling monthly statistics of waiting times.
- Identify clients who require emergency care and liaise with Health Professionals.
- Treat patients in accordance with the Batho Pele principles and Patient Rights Charter.
- Capture patients’ information on electronic monitoring tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
