The internship is a structured work-based program that offers unemployed graduates work experience in the company. Successful applicants will enter into a 12-month fixed-term internship agreement (not an employment contract) with the company and receive a stipend.

Job Description
The successful candidate must be self-motivated with a passion for Design. This person must be able to function well in a diverse team. The successful candidate must be able to multitask, prioritise, and be able to work under pressure.

Minimum Requirements for the Design Internship
To be eligible for the Design Internship, you must meet the following criteria:
Job Qualifications for the Design Internship
- Diploma or higher in Communication design or a similar creative field.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Advantageous:
HTML coding and After Effects experience an advantage.
To qualify for an INSETA Internship program you need to:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Not previously part of an internship/learnership with INSETA.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Unemployed in the last 2 months.
Responsibilities for the Design Internship
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Working with the Creative Leads/Designers to conceptualise and execute creative campaigns that are different, fresh, and effective.
- Crafting designs across a wide range of media elements that meet the company’s internal and external communications needs. Including digital and traditional mediums.
- Implementing and consistently using corporate ID across all executions.
- Constantly striving to understand the company better to develop more relevant and effective strategies, concepts, and executions.
