Suzuki Auto South Africa is gearing up for a major showcase at the 2025 Festival of Motoring (FOM), set to take place at the Kyalami International Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand, Gauteng, from 29 to 31 August. The brand promises to bring a dynamic mix of its most popular cars, motorcycles, and lifestyle products to the event, offering visitors a full “Suzuki experience.”
Strong Presence at Kyalami
Suzuki’s main hub will be at the Main Pits, where it will feature crowd favourites such as the Fronx, Jimny, Grand Vitara, and Baleno, alongside the much-anticipated new Swift. The new-generation Swift has already impressed in early road tests, and its presence at the festival is expected to draw strong interest.
Beyond the display models, Suzuki will give fans the chance to get behind the wheel. Self-drive experiences will be available in the Baleno, Celerio, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Jimny 5-door, and Swift. For thrill-seekers, passenger rides in the Swift GLX and Swift Sport during hot laps promise a taste of Suzuki’s performance edge.

Upper Pits Showcase
At the Upper Pits, Suzuki will highlight its flair for customisation. A specially accessorised Swift and an upgraded Fronx, fitted with performance and protection gear, will be on display, giving enthusiasts a glimpse of how these models can be personalised for style and adventure.
Motorcycle enthusiasts won’t be left out. Suzuki will present a wide spread of bikes, ranging from the practical 125cc Avenis scooter to the iconic 1 300cc Hayabusa. Making its Festival of Motoring debut is the GSX-8R Cup racing bike, which first wowed South African fans at the 2025 Simola Hillclimb.

A Tradition of Excitement
Suzuki has been part of the Festival of Motoring since its inception in 2016, and this year’s lineup is being billed as one of the most diverse yet. The brand will also include outboard motors as part of its display, further showcasing the breadth of Suzuki engineering.
“We’ve been part of this fantastic event since it began in 2016, and this year we are bringing one of our biggest and most diverse lineups yet – from the award-winning Swift and adventure-ready Jimny to an exciting display of high-performance motorcycles and outboard motors. We can’t wait to share the unfiltered Suzuki experience with visitors and look forward to welcoming everyone to our stands at Kyalami,” said Brendon Carpenter, Brand Marketing Manager of Suzuki Auto South Africa.

With interactive driving experiences, motorsport-inspired bikes, and a strong family-friendly model lineup, Suzuki looks set to be one of the biggest attractions at the 2025 Festival of Motoring. Fans of the brand and motoring enthusiasts alike can expect three days of action, adrenaline, and plenty of Suzuki spirit.
