This includes experienced midfielder Bongani Zungu, along with defender Brian Onyango, and the attacking duo of Gaston Sirino and Lesedi Kutumela. Junior Mendieta also announced that he is likely to move to Greece.
- Orlando Pirates: The Buccaneers have been active in trimming their squad, with six players already released. These departures include experienced players like Kermit Erasmus, Thabang Monare, Fortune Makaringe, Souaibou Marou, Richard Ofori, and Siyabonga Mpontshane.

- Sekhukhune United: Following a strong fourth-place finish last season, Sekhukhune United are making changes. They’ve released seven players including Edwin Gymah, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Collins Makgaka, and Lebogang Mabotja, while bringing in new signings, midfielder Andy Boyeli and Thabang Monare.
- Stellenbosch FC: After exceeding expectations with a third-place finish, Stellenbosch FC are freshening things up. They’ve released seven players but haven’t announced any new signings yet.
