Gauteng’s Gautrain service has demonstrated his unwavering support for South Africa’s national women’s football team, Banyana Banyana. In a generous move, it has announced free Gautrain rides for fans attending the upcoming match against Nigeria at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
This gesture aims to encourage a strong turnout at the stadium and boost morale for the team as they face their African rivals for the CAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament at 19:30 this evening. The service recognises the importance of fan support in driving the team’s success.
How to Take Advantage of Gautrain’s Offer
Tickets for the match are still available at Ticketpro and the stadium until game time for up to R50 each. The Gautrain has generously offered to make it possible for ticketholders to attend the match with FREE parking, train ride, and bus shuttle services from the Hatfield station to Loftus.
The limited offer includes:
- A return trip to the Hatfield Station from any Gautrain Station (excluding the airport and Rhodesfield).
- Bus shuttle services to the stadium start at 17:30.
- The first bus shuttle service after the game from Loftus to Hatfield starts at 22:00.
- The last bus shuttle service after the game from Loftus to Hatfield will be at 23:00.
- The last train from Hatfield Station will be at 23:30.
