Perhaps the most devastating incident occurred near the Supersport Park Cricket Stadium. A car and a motorcycle were swept away by floodwaters. While one female passenger managed to swim to safety, rescuers discovered the lifeless bodies of the motorcyclist and the driver.

In a heroic effort, emergency responders also rescued another individual near Centurion Lake Hotel. The person had clung to a lamp pole engulfed by floodwaters and was saved without injury.

Rescue operations remain active, with teams from the Tshwane Fire and Rescue Operations Division, South African Police Service divers, and Gauteng Emergency Medical Services continuing their search for the missing individual.
