- Grade 1: R1,214,805 – R1,288,095 per annum (all-inclusive package)
- Grade 2: R1,386,069 – R1,469,883 per annum (all-inclusive package)

Requirements
- Qualification: Must have an appropriate qualification for HPCSA registration as a Medical Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology.
- Registration: Current registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology for the year 2023/2024.
- Personal Attributes: The candidate should be adaptable, disciplined, self-confident, capable of working independently and under pressure, beyond normal working hours, and with a diverse team.
- Experience:
- Grade 1: 0-5 years of experience as a Medical Specialist.
- Grade 2: 5-10 years of experience as a Medical Specialist.
- Grade 3: More than 10 years of experience as a Medical Specialist.
Duties
- Investigate, diagnose, and oversee patient treatment.
- Improve care quality through appropriate clinical service.
- Supervise and manage patients in outpatient clinics and wards.
- Perform and oversee surgical operations.
- Supervise junior medical staff.
- Commit to overtime for after-hour duties.
- Attend and contribute to administrative and clinical meetings.
- Participate in academic programs and research activities.
- Maintain accurate and legal record keeping.
- Report to the head of unit on service delivery and clinical audits.
- Support the HOD in adhering to National Core Standards.
- Engage in outreach programs to strengthen health systems.
- Participate in meetings for teaching, research, and professional development.
- Adhere to quality assurance and departmental policies.
- Comply with Performance Management and Development system requirements.
