Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Public Administration: A foundational requirement, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, showcasing a strong understanding of public sector management, governance principles, and policy analysis.
- Professional Experience: NFVF seeks individuals with 1 – 2 years of working experience in Governance or Monitoring and Evaluation. This experience is crucial for understanding the complexities and nuances of governance processes and evaluation methodologies. NFVF values practical exposure to governance frameworks, policy evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis.
- Internship Experience: Recognizing the value of early career experiences, NFVF considers internship involvement in related fields as valuable.
- Additional Skills: Beyond academic qualifications and professional experience, NFVF interested in candidates who have developed a strong analytical skill set, are proficient in the use of evaluation tools and software, and possess excellent communication skills for reporting and presenting findings.
Key Responsibilities:
- In-depth Support to the CEO’s Office: Offer dedicated administrative support to the CEO, involving meticulous management of schedules, correspondence, and strategic initiatives. Act as a pivotal liaison between the CEO and other departments, ensuring streamlined communication and operational efficiency.
- Comprehensive Report Management: Spearhead the gathering and organization of critical data for the preparation of detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. This involves coordinating across departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness in report compilation.
- Funding Appeals Coordination: Work closely with the Applications team to manage and respond to funding appeals. This requires a detailed understanding of funding criteria, applicant communication, and the appeals process.
- Strategic Session Support: Provide essential support during strategic planning sessions for the NFVF and the CEO’s Office. Tasks include organizing materials, coordinating logistics, and ensuring sessions run smoothly.
- Company Secretary Assistance: Offer support to the Company Secretary upon request, encompassing a variety of tasks from document preparation to meeting coordination, highlighting the role’s versatility within governance structures.
- Financial Administration Assistance: Assist with financial operations related to the CEO’s Office, including managing purchase requisitions and addressing payment queries. This responsibility demands a keen eye for detail and an understanding of financial protocols.
- Logistical and Travel Support: Facilitate all logistics and travel arrangements for the CEO’s Office, ensuring seamless planning and execution of travel plans, accommodations, and itinerary management for both domestic and international engagements.
