The Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) is offering an exciting opportunity for graduates to gain valuable work experience across various skill areas. With a commitment to skills development, CSOS is inviting applications for its comprehensive CSOS Internship Programme, set to run for a period of twelve (12) months.

CSOS Internship Programme Overview

  • Stipend: R6 400.00 per month
  • Closing Date: 01 March 2024

About The Community Schemes Ombud Services

The Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) plays am integral role in enhancing the living conditions within community schemes across South Africa. Established by the Community Scheme Ombud Service Act of 2011 and operational since October 7, 2016, CSOS aims to regulate conduct and ensure the good governance of parties within community schemes.

Head Office (Centurion: Gauteng)

  1. Human Resource
    • Number of Interns: 2
    • Reference Number: CSOS/HRINT/02/2024
    • Qualifications Requirements: National Diploma in Human Resource or an equivalent qualification
  2. Legal Services
    • Number of Interns: 2
    • Reference Number: CSOS/LSINT/02/2024
    • Qualifications Requirements: Degree in Law (LLB Degree or B proc) or an equivalent qualification
  3. Marketing
    • Number of Interns: 1
    • Reference Number: CSOS/MINT/02/2024
    • Qualifications Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Media Studies, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or similar qualifications
  4. Finance Expenditure
    • Number of Interns: 2

    • Qualifications Requirements: BCom Accounting or an equivalent qualification

Interns will be expected to possess a wide range of skills to succeed in their roles within the Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS). In addition to the foundational skills mentioned, the following attributes are highly valued:

Role Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support various departments in day-to-day tasks and projects, ensuring smooth operational flow and assisting in the execution of department-specific functions.

  • Contribute to the achievement of CSOS’s goals and objectives, aligning individual efforts with the broader mission of promoting good governance and effective dispute resolution within community schemes.
