Long-serving club captain Innocent Maela is currently a free agent, with reports suggesting he could soon transition into a technical role within the club’s setup.
Big-Name Moves Raise Eyebrows
Some exits will sting for the Bucs faithful. Saleng’s switch to Orbit College raised eyebrows, while rivals Kaizer Chiefs swooped in to land Mako and Monyane. Abroad, Nkota sealed a deal with Al Ettifaq, and Kimvuidi moved to Israeli side SC Ashdod.
Pirates Dominate the Transfer Window
In total, Pirates concluded over 30 transactions this window more than both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns. With such wholesale changes, the Mayfair giants have sent a strong statement of intent ahead of the new season.
