SASSA is Hiring: SASSA has launched a nationwide recruitment campaign for key senior executive positions in Gauteng, Western Cape, and its Head Office in Pretoria. SASSA, which administers critical social grant programs for millions of South Africans, is seeking experienced and qualified individuals to fill three senior roles:
- Regional Executive Manager – Western Cape
- General Manager: Corporate Services – Gauteng
- Senior Manager: Operational Planning – Head Office (Pretoria)

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A relevant undergraduate or postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 7 or above).
- At least five years of senior management experience.
- Strong knowledge of governance, planning, and social security systems.
- Successful candidates must undergo a competency assessment and security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Executive Manager – Western Cape
- Strategic oversight of social assistance delivery in the province.
- Coordination with municipal and provincial departments.
- Performance monitoring and regional governance alignment.
General Manager: Corporate Services – Gauteng
- Leadership of human resources, IT, finance, and facility management services.
- Ensuring efficient resource allocation and compliance with financial frameworks.
Senior Manager: Operational Planning – Pretoria Head Office
- Develop and monitor implementation plans for national operations.
- Align planning with strategic and annual performance goals.
