MINI South Africa is inviting car lovers to a special gathering that promises both nostalgia and excitement. On Saturday, 14 September, hundreds of MINIs both classic icons and modern models will unite for the highly anticipated MINI Breakfast Drive, creating one of the most striking automotive convoys in Gauteng.
Where the Journey Begins
The day kicks off at BMW xDrive Park in Midrand, where participants are expected to arrive from 8:30am. An hour later, at 9:30am, the convoy will set off in true MINI style, making its way across Gauteng to The Ground in Muldersdrift on the West Rand.
Upon arrival, the spectacle continues. Vehicles will be carefully arranged to form the legendary MINI wordmark, offering a once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity for owners and fans alike. In addition, the venue will host interactive brand activations, entertainment, and social experiences designed to bring the MINI community closer together.

Celebrating the MINI Spirit
“The MINI Breakfast Drive is an appreciation for our heritage and a chance to make history alongside our passionate MINI community,” said Carmen Myles, head of MINI South Africa.
She added: “It embodies our big love for the brand and the unique experiences only a MINI can offer. This is about more than cars, it’s about celebrating MINI with friends.”
