Building on the strong market momentum since its debut last year, Ford has unveiled the first special edition of its China-sourced Territory SUV — the Dark Edition. This new flagship variant adds a sophisticated blacked-out aesthetic and premium features, while maintaining the performance of the standard model.
Distinctive Black Styling
Derived from the top-tier Titanium trim, the Territory Dark Edition steps up as the most luxurious and visually striking version yet. Marketed as the Equator Sport in China, this edition sees a host of exterior and interior enhancements with no mechanical changes under the hood.
On the outside, the Dark Edition lives up to its name with a stealthy design that includes 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels, black roof rails and mirror caps, a black front skidplate, window surrounds, and model badging. A gloss black grille and black cladding around the wheel arches complete the aggressive look. Customers can choose from four body colours — Panther Black, Lustrous Grey, Ruby Red, and Crystal Pearl White — each paired with a contrasting black roof for added flair.

Premium Interior with a Splash of Colour
The black theme continues inside the cabin, now boasting a more refined and uniform look. Gone is the dual-tone interior — replaced with black leather seats featuring Cyber Orange contrast stitching, a black headliner, and black dashboard and door panels also trimmed in leather. Imitation carbon fibre inserts on the centre console and dashboard add a sporty edge, while the orange stitching brings a pop of vibrancy to the otherwise dark palette.

The highlight of the Territory Dark Edition’s tech suite is the introduction of a 360-degree surround-view camera — a first for any Territory model. This feature significantly enhances parking and low-speed manoeuvrability, giving the Dark Edition a high-tech advantage over its siblings.
