If you’re a DStv subscriber, you can vote for your favorite housemates, helping to keep them in the game. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to vote for your favorite housemate using the MyDStv app, website, and mobile site.

How to Vote on Big Brother Mzansi Season 5

Voting takes place through multiple platforms, including the MyDStv app, the Big Brother Mzansi website, and the mobile site. Here’s everything you need to know to cast your vote and support your favorite housemate.

Voting via the MyDStv App

The MyDStv app is a convenient and quick way to vote for your favorite Big Brother Mzansi housemates. If you’re an active DStv subscriber with an eligible package, this is your go-to method.

  1. Open the App: Launch the MyDStv app on your device. If you haven’t installed it yet, download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Register to Vote: If you’re using the app for the first time, click on the “Register Now” button. You’ll need to enter your personal details, including your name, surname, date of birth, location, and phone number in international format (e.g., +27731234567).
  3. Confirm Your Details: You will receive an OTP (One-Time Pin) via SMS. Enter the OTP to complete the registration.
  4. Cast Your Vote: Once registered, navigate to the “Explore” section of the app. Select your favorite housemate and click “Vote Now.”
  5. Maximize Your Votes: The number of votes you can cast depends on your DStv package. Premium subscribers receive 2500 votes, Compact Plus subscribers get 1500 votes, Compact subscribers get 750 votes, Family subscribers have 500 votes, and Access subscribers get 200 votes. If you’re not a subscriber, consider upgrading your package for more voting power.
  6. Voting Limits: Each DStv account can cast a maximum of 100 votes per voting round. Make sure to use all your votes to show support for your favorite housemate.

Voting via the Big Brother Mzansi Website

If you prefer voting via the website, here’s how to do it:

  1. Register: Visit the official Big Brother Mzansi website at mzansimagic.tv/bigbrother. Click on the “Vote” menu and select “Register.” Enter your personal information, including your phone number in international format (e.g., +27731234567), and create a password. You’ll receive an OTP via SMS, which you’ll need to enter to complete the registration.
  2. Log In: After registration, click on “Login” on the website. Enter your phone number and password.
  3. Vote for Your Favorite Housemate: Once logged in, you can select your favorite housemate and enter the number of votes you want to cast (up to 100 votes per round).
  4. Submit Your Vote: After selecting your votes, click on “VOTE” to cast your vote.

Note: Website votes are free, but data charges apply, so make sure you have enough data before voting.

Voting via the Mobile Site

You can also vote via the mobile site. Here’s the process:

  1. Register: Visit mzansimagic.tv/bigbrother on your mobile browser. Click on the “Vote” menu, then “Register.” Enter your details, including your phone number in international format, and receive an OTP via SMS.
  2. Login: Once registered, click on “Login” and enter your phone number and password.
  3. Cast Your Vote: After logging in, select your favorite housemate, enter the number of votes you want to cast (up to 100), and click “VOTE.”

Note: Like the website, mobile site votes are free, but data charges will apply.

Why Your Vote Matters

Big Brother Mzansi’s theme for Season 5 is “Umlilo,” and just like fire, the show is full of energy and passion. Your vote is crucial to ensuring that the housemates you love stay in the game. Each vote you cast helps keep your favorite housemate’s flame burning bright. As the show progresses, the drama will intensify, and your support could make all the difference in who stays and who leaves.
