Residents and businesses in the Ester Park area and parts of Spartan are advised to prepare for four days of planned power outages as the City of Ekurhuleni upgrades critical infrastructure at the Ester Park substation in Kempton Park.
The maintenance, scheduled from Friday, December 13, to Monday, December 16, will involve upgrading electrical components to enhance service reliability. The outages will occur daily between 08:00 and 20:00, affecting both residential and industrial zones.
Planned Power Outages: Affected Areas
The following areas will experience interruptions:
- Ester Park
- Spartan Extension 1: Plane and Spencer roads
- Spartan Extension 3: Roller, Foreman, Vuurslag, Grader, and Lovato roads
- Spartan Extension 7
- Spartan Extension 16: Platinum, Copper, Bronze, Vuurslag, and Felbitem roads
- Camwood and Gifboom roads
