Upcoming Water Outages in Tshwane: Find Out If Your Area Is Affected
Residents in Tshwane will experience water disruptions as the municipality conducts essential maintenance on its water infrastructure. These planned disruptions aim to improve the water supply system but will cause temporary inconvenience to many areas across the city.
Reasons for Water Disruptions
The scheduled maintenance will involve upgrading water pipes, reservoirs, and pumps to prevent future breakdowns. The city encourages residents to make the necessary preparations by storing sufficient water for essential needs.
The City of Tshwane’s Water and Sanitation Department has notified residents of the scheduled water disruption for Thursday in Rosslyn, located north-west of Pretoria.
According to the municipality, the water supply will be shut down for nine hours, starting from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
