Western Cape Weather

In the Western Cape, particularly Cape Town, the day begins at around 16°C and gradually warms up to 21°C by lunchtime. However, light rain is expected to make an appearance, especially in the afternoon. Areas like Stellenbosch might see similar conditions with high temperatures around 22°C, while George will maintain a cool 20°C throughout the day. Cloudy skies will envelop the evening as temperatures dip back down to approximately 18°C.

KwaZulu-Natal Weather

In KwaZulu-Natal, Durban is in for a hot one, with temperatures expected to soar to 31°C. This trend of high temperatures will also be felt inland in Pietermaritzburg, where we anticipate highs around 29°C. Expect a sunny start with some clouds, leading to a warm evening at 24°C. Particularly significant are the windy conditions inland, as bergwinds contribute to the warmth, resulting in extremely high fire dangers, especially in Richards Bay.

Eastern Cape Weather

The Eastern Cape will see fairly mild conditions, with Port Elizabeth starting the day around 15°C, climbing to 23°C by noon, and remaining comfortably cool at 20°C later on. East London follows suit, with similar predictions. Temperatures will remain steady with some intermittent clouds, thus individuals should prepare for mild weather all day.

Free State Weather

The Free State is experiencing substantially warmer weather today. Bloemfontein, for example, can expect a high near 31°C. Mpumalanga Weather

Mpumalanga will be marked by hot and sunny conditions. Mbombela is set to hit highs of 34°C, following a starting temperature of around 15°C. The heat remains intense in the afternoon, encouraging outdoor ventures but reminding residents of the risk of heat exposure in the sun.

North West Weather

The North West province will also bake in warmth, with Mahikeng expecting highs of 32°C. Starting at 17°C, the day will evolve into a sunny and pleasant afternoon, settling down to a more moderate evening temperature around 27°C. Fire hazard is a concern as well, so residents should exercise caution.

Northern Cape Weather

Lastly, the Northern Cape is likely to mirror the hot trends, particularly with cities like Upington anticipating temperatures climbing to 34°C. The day will start off around 16°C and taper off to mild temperatures in the evening, still warmer compared to many other regions at 28°C.
