Localized flooding in low-lying areas and damage to infrastructure are expected, particularly in the north and eastern parts of the Eastern Cape, as well as the Highveld and escarpment of Mpumalanga.
Damaging Winds & Dangerous Waves
- Coastal areas between Alexander Bay and Cape Agulhas will experience strong winds and rough seas, making navigation difficult. Mariners and coastal residents should exercise caution.
Extreme Heat & Humidity
- KwaZulu-Natal will experience hot and humid conditions, leading to extremely uncomfortable weather in some areas. Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and take necessary precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses.
