Citroën has expanded the local C3 Aircross range with the introduction of a more affordable base model, the Citroën C3 Aircross Plus. This update brings the total number of variants to three, following the previous launch of a single model that was distinguished mainly by its seating configuration.

Citroën C3 Aircross New Base Model

The new Citroën C3 Aircross Plus departs from the turbocharged version of the regular C3, opting instead for a more budget-friendly, naturally aspirated engine paired with a manual transmission. The 1.2-litre three-cylinder PureTech petrol engine now generates 61kW and 115Nm, down from the 81kW and 205Nm of the previous turbocharged version. The engine sends power to the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox, replacing the previously available six-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to the new base model, the C3 Aircross Max has also seen upgrades, now featuring enhanced standard specifications. These include projector-type LED headlights, automatic climate control with rear vents, electrically folding mirrors, six airbags, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and a tyre pressure monitor.
