Gauteng
The province will experience partly cloudy skies transitioning to fine and warm conditions. The extreme north of Gauteng will be hot, with a very high UVB sunburn index, urging residents to take precautions against sun exposure.
Mpumalanga
Cloudy and cool to warm weather is expected, accompanied by isolated showers and thundershowers, especially in the east. The west will clear up in the afternoon, becoming partly cloudy.
Limpopo
Expect hot conditions in the Western Bushveld, while the east remains cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers under cloudy skies.
North West
A fine and warm day is on the cards for the North West province, ideal for outdoor activities.
Free State
Morning fog patches in the extreme east will clear to fine and cool to warm weather across the region.
Northern Cape
Fine and warm conditions dominate, except for partly cloudy skies in the extreme southern parts during the early morning. The Dawid Kruiper local municipality faces extremely high fire danger conditions. Coastal winds will be fresh to strong, blowing from the south to south-east.
Western Cape
Light rain in the morning is expected along the extreme south-eastern parts, giving way to partly cloudy and cool weather. The west coast will experience hot conditions with strong southerly to south-easterly winds in the afternoon.
Eastern Cape
Both the western and eastern halves of the province will be partly cloudy and cool with light showers south of the escarpment. Coastal winds will remain moderate to fresh from the south-west.
KwaZulu-Natal
Foggy mornings will clear to partly cloudy and cool weather. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected, becoming scattered in the extreme north. Fresh to strong southerly to south-westerly winds will prevail, occasionally reaching gale force in southern coastal areas.
